Bookings & calendar
Day and week diary with a column per stylist, multi-service bookings, per-stylist double-booking detection and a patch-test guard for colour clients. Block out lunch breaks, training or a day off and those times vanish from the online booking page automatically. Walk-ins log in two taps - staff and services - with takings counted instantly and running daily totals, made for barbershop pace. When a day is full, clients can join the cancellation waitlist - a freed slot is offered to the longest-waiting first, by text or email. One click turns your live service menu into a branded price-list PDF.
Client database
Contact details and visit history, dated colour-formula records, before-and-after photos, patch-test dates, marketing consent and no-show tracking - with GDPR export and delete. Switching systems? Import your whole client book from a CSV in one go - duplicates are skipped, and marketing consent is never copied across. E-signed patch-test and consultation consent lives on the record too: a clear, timestamped record of what was agreed.
Money & tax
Income captured automatically from bookings, retail and chair rent; categorised expenses; a month-by-month P&L and a UK tax-year summary. Record cash, card or a tip as each visit completes, sell prepaid packages at the desk, and cash up with an honest end-of-day takings-by-payment view. Cancellation waitlist
A full day no longer means a lost client - they leave their name on the booking page (or the desk adds them). When a booking is cancelled, Lushera re-checks that the time is genuinely free, then texts or emails the longest-waiting matches with a link to book. First come, first served - the slot is honestly never held, so nobody can block your diary.
Automatic review requests
A few hours after a visit, Lushera can ask the client for a Google or Facebook review - one polite message, only to clients who have opted in to hear from you, at most once per booking and never more often than the cooldown you set. Off by default; turn it on when you're ready.
Insights dashboard
Rebooking rate, client retention, average ticket, staff utilisation, no-show trends and a weekday-by-hour quiet map that shows exactly when the salon goes quiet. Campaign takings are shown too, honestly labelled as indicative. PIN-protected at the desk, just like Money.

Undelivered texts are credited back, credits never expire, and a banner warns you before you run low. Already have your own SMS gateway account? Connect it instead and texts bill to you there.
Honest note: 6p is the same per text as the big platforms charge - the difference is there's no commission anywhere else, and email reminders are free.
Any phone? WhatsApp from the front desk
Every booking and every client record carries a WhatsApp button. Tap it and WhatsApp opens with the reminder already written - client, service, date and time filled in - and you just press send. Pair the free WhatsApp Desktop app on the salon PC and the whole flow lives on the same screen as your diary, sending from the salon's own number.
Honest note: one tap per message, by design - that's what keeps it free, on any phone, and inside WhatsApp's rules. Campaigns stay on email and text.
